Hi, I’m Miguel Fierro. Welcome to my world!

Let me tell you a little bit about myself.

I am an Electrical Engineer who decided to switch my career to AI and robotics. It wasn't an easy change, but it was worth it.

I didn’t know how to code, I didn’t know machine learning, and I didn’t know how to program this little humanoid robot. That was my first AI challenge.

I started with zero knowledge of AI and ended up creating several AI startups, working at one of the top AI companies, and collaborating with some of the most talented people in the field of AI.

Imposter syndrome can happen to anyone, whether you join a new company, you get a new job, or join a new community. It happened to me when I joined Microsoft. Many of my colleagues came from top Universities: Oxford, MIT, Imperial College, Harvard... while nobody had heard of my University and I was the only Spaniard on my team. I questioned whether I should be here in the first place. Here is the truth, I worked super hard and I belonged to this place.

It is the same for you. Whether you joined a new company, got a new job, or a new degree, you belong there. You worked super hard to get it, and it's yours.

I never take for granted how amazing it is to work at Microsoft. Learning about AI. Building solutions for millions. Working with the most talented people. Working in AI at this point in history is an amazing opportunity.

I started a mission to help people understand and apply AI. I hope my journey can help you.
